gliostatin
Cytokine (dimeric, subunits 50 kD) very similar to PD-ECGF. Neurotrophic for cortical neurons and inhibits proliferation of astrocytes (stimulates differentiation). May play a part in aberrant neovascularisation of rheumatoid synovium.
